Updated list of Hybrid pilot stocks

By: Ray Pellecchia
File Under: NYSE

The pilot of Phase I of the Hybrid Market has expanded in recent days to include 60 stocks. You may want to keep up with this evolution, and in case you're missing the links:

1. List of stocks that have been added to the pilot to date. This list is updated each day that additional stocks are "activated":

2. List of all 168 stocks that will ultimately participate in the pilot:

Me -- I know. The Phase I pilot is long over, so that link to the list of pilot stocks is no longer live.

I need to update those posts with a note. Will put on my to-do list.

In the meantime, here's the link to the wrapup on Phase I:

Thanks for writing to point this out.

I would like to know which stocks are currently trading under the hybrid system. I can't seem to find it on the site anywhere. Thanks.

Chris -- Some of the Hybrid Market tools have been rolled out across all our stocks, such as NYSE e-Quote, which was part of Phase I. For other tools such as the Specialist API (Phase II), the software rollout is complete but the various functions are being rolled out gradually. And we have a Phase III pilot underway in Lucent Technologies, in which we've revised the restrictions on NYSE Direct+ automated order execution. That phase is the one most commonly thought of as what you called "the hybrid system."

Phase III will begin rolling out on a gradual basis starting 6 October, and is expected to last several weeks. Also beginning 6 October, we will post on nyse.com/hybrid the names of stocks that have been activated in Phase III, and keep that updated.

Hope that's of some help. Thanks for reminding me, we need to add definitions of each phase to the summary schedule we have posted on nyse.com/hybrid. Will get to that as soon as I can.

Appreciate your writing, and hope you'll stay tuned.
