Wanted: an internship for Amir

Are there any NYSE floor internships available? I'd LOVE to work on the floor of the NYSE. I was a business administration in management major, now I'm majoring in finance under business admin. – Amir

Amir--Floor internships are determined by the individual firms on the floor, not the NYSE itself. nyse.com has a directory of all the firms; the shoe leather is up to you.

It’s not the custom of this space to act as a bulletin board for prospective interns, but I find it affirming that bright, young people want to intern on the floor. If a blog is about community, let the floor community use it as an opportunity to find tomorrow's market professionals.

So if anyone on the trading floor is watching this space and wants to offer an internship to a someone obviously tuned-in and interested, send me a response and I’ll pass along Amir’s address. And Amir: good luck to you.

Hi, I have been studying in Financial Markets of Illinois Institute of Technology, focusing on trading strategies. And I have some experiences working as a trading assistant for an active day trader, who trades the stocks mainly listed in NYSE.
