Got RSS?
- By: Ray Pellecchia
- File Under: NYSE
Miss me? Whaddaya mean, "didn't notice you were gone"?!
Been busy on other stuff. Thought I'd take a minute on a summer-quiet afternoon for a little self-promo.
We've expanded RSS on nyse.com, bringing to 17 the number of feeds available via subscription. My HybridTalkin' colleague Brenda and I have previously mentioned that you can use the subscribe button above to get your regular dose of HybridTalk via RSS. And now, you can click on this page to see what else is available:
• A dozen business-side news release categories, including financial news, indexes and ETFs, international, new listings, personnel, products and services, program trading, rule proposals, trading data, unusual trading, and the ever-popular "other."
• Three news-release categories on the NYSE Regulation side: Reg. news, disciplinary actions, and listing reviews and suspensions.
• A couple of categories from our Market Data folks: NYSE Data announcements and CTA announcements (that's Consolidated Tape Association, for those of you new on the beat!).
There are also one-click buttons that allow you to subscribe with one click to all 17 feeds, or to all of the feeds within any of those three groups.
How easy is it to set yourself up on RSS? Let me put it this way, since you all know my level of technological non-expertise: even I can do it.
