Hybrid haiku

And now for something completely different.
I asked for it, and now I got it. And I'm happy to get it.
I mentioned in my Big Bored post, I reminded everyone that the door of this here blog is open to "questions, comment, observations, haiku," etc.
In short order, in comes this e-mail from Nancy Reich, our VP and Associate General Counsel/Rule Development and Regulatory Integration (I think of her as an HRC -- Hybrid-Regulating Colleague):
You wanted a haiku -- how about this:
e-Quotes, s-Quotes and
LRPs, sweeps. Hybrid will provide
customers with more.Maybe I should keep my day job?
Who can say it any better than that? Nancy later told me it took her all of about a minute. Nancy, you should definitely keep the day job, because we need you there. But it's great to see you wordsmithing something other than a rule filing! Thanks for the poetic contribution, a first for HybridTalk.
If anyone else is inspired to turn a phrase involving something poetic like Liquidity Replenishment Points, your publisher awaits. Right here. Just don't expect too much in the way of royalty checks.

If you like haikus, then you're going to love this Hybrid Market limerick, written by Brenda McCarthy and yours truly.
There once was a market called Hybrid,
Who wanted to study it? I did.
I read through the blog,
And was all agog -
Soon I can auto-ex my bid!

Ah, now the creative juices are flowing!
Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, I leave to the eye of the beholder.
Me, I'll go with the flow. Nicely done, Lennon and McCartney. I mean, Keeler and McCarthy.
For the uninitiated to HybridTalk, Brenda led the building of this blog, and Nicole is instrumental in putting together the Hybrid Training Program pieces that we post here.
I'm posting this from the 6:25 train, and the guy next to me asked what I was laughing at. He thought it was pretty funny, and he's never even heard of the Hybrid Market.
I'm half-expecting someone to lob in a sonnet.

Thanks, Kevin.
Appreciate the input, and it's easier to take in verse!
