Rollout resumes with another 55 issues on Thursday, Dec. 28

We will activate another 55 securities into Phase III of the NYSE Hybrid Market on Thursday, Dec. 28. That will increase the total of activated issues to 2,031, topping the 2,000 mark for the first time.

Also, please note:
1. PRE PRTCL - Partnerre Capital 7.9% - last day of trading was Dec. 20.
2. TCC – Trammell Crow Company - last day of trading was Dec. 20.
3. DSF WD –Defined Strategy Fund Inc. – last day for “When Distributed” trading will be on a date to be announced.
4. VNV – Viacom Inc. 6.85% Senior Notes - effective trade date was today, 12/26/06, has been added to Hybrid.

Didn't look at e-mail or scan any blogs all day today, which felt great, so I'm just checking in for a minute to keep things updated. Main accomplishment today was putting together my son's new Lego Star Wars x-wing fighter, which seems to have, oh, about 898,736 pieces. And Lego uses those wordless instructions, which is like a big brain teaser for my spatial ability. Must have taken about four hours, but it did get the biggest "Cool!" my 5 year old can muster. I think there is an unwritten rule: all Christmas presents requiring assembly have to be completed within 24 hours of Dec. 25. So at least now I'm good on that.
